Included here are Che's essay 'Socialism and Man in Cuba', his controversial speech in Algiers in 1965, and his final Message to the Tricontinental, in which he calls for the creation of 'Two, Three, Many Vietnams'. Published in association with the Che Guevara Studies Center, Havana.

Ernesto "Che" Guevara was born in Argentina in 1928. After training as a doctor, he travelled throughout Latin America and joined Fidel Castro in the movement that overthrew the Batista regime in Cuba. Guevara became a central leader of the Cuban revolutionary government up until his ill-fated guerilla expedition to Bolivia where he was captured and assassinated in October 1967 on the instructions of the CIA.
