Reorganisation of the camp

- The municipality of Utrecht wants Occupy Utrecht to reorganize the camp. We came to the conclusion that we may incorporate artists and ourselves to create more art and more openness/happiness on the camp. There is the idea to have a manifestation on the 1st of april to make art for the camp.

- Try to get a same tent as Occupy Rotterdam has.

- Lets make mudhouses instead :D

National press-release

- P J has sent an email to the ou mailinglist about the content of a message to the Dutch mayors in which the content is about the state of democracy and human rights in relation to the eviction of homeless people and occupy camps in the Netherlands. Everybody is suggested to make comments to co-create the content.

25 march Spring festival

- Meditation
Send invitations to other spiritual groups to join the meditation medmob (http://www.facebook.com/pages/MedMob-Utrecht-Netherlands/363426487005642...)

- Activities for children
Painting the square, Abraham will coördinate this.
While writing this minutes I think of trying to get boardgames to let children play Ganzenboard, puzzles, kwartet, etc.

- Public discussion
Suggestions for themes: happiness, sustainability, healthiness, love, peace,…

- Music and poetry
Freek is going to play music and others are encouraged to do the same and take instruments with them.

- Community picknick
Everyone is encouraged to bring healthy food and things that are useful during the picknick.

Ideas for on the camp:

- Friends of Occupy wall - a wall where (ecological) ‘friends’ of Occupy are promoted.

- A wall where the declaration of human rights are mentioned

- Everybody is asked to actively spread the flyers for the festival.

31 march (anti capitalism march) occupy stand
- Frederik and Maan will be participants of the stand. Freek and Pieter Jan will maybe be involved as well.

Alternative location for the camp

- Because of the pressure of the municipality we have to leave for our own safety during queensday and the European soccer championships. We’ve had consensus to leave during these events, but that we will come back at the Ganzenmarkt because of the strategic location in the middle of the center in the Netherlands in front of the municipality. More ideas on why to stay or leave to another place will be thought of this week and will be discussed during the next GA.

- Suggestions for possible locations during three weeks (queensday till European soccer championship)

- Because the events are not supported by our ideology there is the idea to Occupy Soestdijk during queensday.
