Incident

Afgelopen weekend heeft er een vervelend incident plaatsgevonden. Volgens Hans ging het om een Occupier met iemand die bij hen wel bekend is maar zelden bij hen aansluit. Deze nacht kwam hij de tent binnen en er ontstond een ruzie waarbij geweld is gebruikt.

Reorganisation of the camp

- The municipality of Utrecht wants Occupy Utrecht to reorganize the camp. We came to the conclusion that we may incorporate artists and ourselves to create more art and more openness/happiness on the camp. There is the idea to have a manifestation on the 1st of april to make art for the camp.

Thursday April 5 at 13.00 is the next meeting with representatives from the municipality about what happens after Queens Day. They make a decision, after that we can only fight that decision. This assembly we have to choose between going outside (in Amelisweerd) or going into a building (which we hope we can choose in dialogue with the council).
