PS: The footage is probably from 2004 at the ceremony when the first spade full was taken for the ALCOA smelter in Reydarfjordur.
The woman is Valgerdur Sverrisdottir, then Minister of Industry.
I wonder what rules Sophusson is bending now in his new job as director of Islandsbanki, formerly the infamous Glitnir Bank….
