On the 6 of January, the anarchist collective Utrecht will organize an informal meeting. It goals to let new people meet local anarchists. There will be stands, the anarchist black cross. Where you can write to prisoners, the showing of an episode of trouble and more. If you want to know your local anarchist, come on the 6 of January to the ACU.

How the FSB is Manufacturing a Terrorism Case Against Antifascists in Russia. Event by Bookcafe the Barricade.

In the run-up to presidential elections and the FIFA World Cup, repressions against antifascists and anarchists started in Russia.
In Autumn 2017, 6 people were arrested in Penza; several of them had weapons and explosives planted on them. FSB officers then tortured the antifascists right in the detention facility: they applied naked wires to the activists’ various body parts and turned the electricity on, they beat them up, hanged them upside down. While torturing them, the agents made the activists learn by heart the story the FSB needed: they were supposed to confess of having founded and belonging to a terrorist organization called “The Network”.
In late January 2018, two more antifascists were arrested in Saint-Petersburg. They, too, were beaten up, tortured with electric current, and forced to incriminate themselves by confirming they were members of the “Network”.

De dertiende editie van het jaarlijkse 2.Dh5 Festival komt in februari 2019 weer naar Amsterdam, met dit jaar het thema ‘power’.

Ben je geïnteresseerd hoe dit begrip samenhangt met feminisme, queer, anti-racisme, anti-facisme, de-kolonialisme, arbeidsstrijd, anti-militarisme, internationale solidariteit, milieustrijd, migratie/no-border, internet vrijheid/privacy, recht op stad/anti-gentrificatie en/of alle kruisingen daar tussen?

Met behulp van tientallen workshops, discussies, lezingen zullen we ons storten op deze actiethema’s, strategieën en inhoudelijke verdieping. Zo kunnen we andere wereldversleutelaars ontmoeten, ons beter organiseren, effectiever actie voeren en nieuwe plannen smeden om onze idealen van een vrije en solidaire samenleving dichterbij brengen.
